Brow Lift
As an individual ages and muscle tone diminishes in the forehead, furrows may develop along the brow, eyebrows may begin to droop and the eyes may appear smaller than they actually
are.

A brow lift is designed to improve the appearance of the eyes and eliminate age-related furrows, creases, and frown lines above and between the eyebrows.
Procedure
During a brow lift, an incision is made at or slightly behind the hairline, where it will be completely hidden by surrounding hair. The surgeon carefully weakens the muscles that caused the furrows, and gently lifts and stretches the skin, raising
the eyebrows and creating a more alert appearance.
Post-Operative Care
During the first three to five days following the procedure, patients may experience some discomfort, which can be controlled with prescribed pain relievers. For two weeks following
the procedure, temporary swelling and bruising in the upper cheek area are common. Patients are encouraged to wear tinted glasses to help conceal these conditions.
When to Have the Procedure
Although there are no age restrictions, it is uncommon for anyone under 40 years of age to have a brow lift performed. Most men who have the procedure performed are between 50 and 65 years of age.
